The jingling of bells and the impeccably adorable decorations at every corner of our city indicates the onset of Christmas Eve. Christmas is celebrated every year on 25th of December to honor the birth of Jesus Christ. Religious people go to church and light candles to pray to God. It is mainly the festival of Christians. But in today’s time, the festival has surpassed the religious boundaries and become a symbol of the holistic culture. It is a festival that is equally loved and cherished by adults and kids. And, Santa Claus, the name that has been given to the harbinger of happiness and joy adds the special element of charm and innocence to our life. He brings the special message of hope, happiness, joy and merriment. He says, never let that magical element of innocence go out from your life. Keep the child within you always alive and make sure that you add a little of that element in everything you do. This festival teaches us to practice kindness and love towards each other and to help those who are less fortunate than us.

The premises of Saaransh Foundation, on the day of Christmas celebration, turned red, white and glittery. The glow of joy that onset of Christmas Eve brings, could be seen on the happy and smiling faces of all the students. They had a grand Christmas carnival which included group dance by students, group songs by their mentors and an enlightening speech by our honorable chairman. The students were given yummy little treats to add to the celebration and at last but not the least our guests of honor became Santa Claus for the lovely kids and distributed amazing gifts among them.
