Event : Independence Day
Date : 13-08-19
Independence Day is one of the national festivals of India, which is celebrated on 15th of August every year to commemorate the independence of our mother land from the Britishers after 200 years of slavery in the year 1947.
This year, 2019, India is celebrating its 73rd independence with great pride and enthusiasm. Our students of Saaransh foundation celebrated it on 13th of August in their own creative ways to show their patriotism towards the nation. Our cute tiny tots of class Picasso celebrated it by colouring the national flag using thumb printing technique and felt proud to be a part of the celebration. Class Tagore celebrated it by painting their cheeks with tricolour. Classes Einstein and Beethoven became a part of the celebration by drawing and colouring the National flag. The students of class Pehchan painted the cut-outs of birds with tricolour to mark our independence. They also celebrated it by tying the tricolour ribbons around their head and sang patriotic song. All the teachers helped them in the celebration and also discussed about the importance of the day with the students.
