Event : Organ Donation Day

“To the world you may be one person. But to one person, you may be the world.” -- Dr. Seuss

It is said that a man is not remembered by his name, but by the noble acts with which he touches the lives of other people. True as it is, it is not our body that accompanies our soul in our afterlife, but our good deeds that do. At the very beginning of this journey, the most pious deed that can be done , is to donate one’s organs to someone else more needy--------- the precious gift of life to him, and happiness to his kith and kin. It is quoted that,

“Don’t take your organs to heaven… heaven knows we need them here!”

Hence to spread the awareness about the organ donation and its importance every year 13th of August is observed as ‘organ donation day’, it motivates us to involve ourselves too in this noble process.

We at Saaransh Foundation also observed the day by discussing about it and its importance to the students of class Einstein. The students were listening very keenly and appreciated its importance.
