3rd Foundation Day of Saaransh Foundation was celebrated on 29th August, 2018 with great enthusiasm, fun and frolic. The programme started with a video, showing various activities taking place in Saaransh Foundation in day to day life, followed by a surprise performance by Indie Productions.

The guests for the day were Chairman Mr. Apoorva Goenka, ,Trustee Mr Prateek Goenka, Director Mrs Rani Chaudhry, Mr. Atanu Rath ( Principal DPS Gandhinagar), Mr.Rakesh Bhagat (Headmaster DPS Gandhinagar) and Mr. Vipul. Function proceeded further with the ceremonial “Lighting of the lamp” with ‘shloka’ chanting in background by Master Shrey Vayeda.

The cultural programme commenced with prayer dance, followed by a sweet performance of Picasso, our tiny tots on “Lavenders Blue Dilly-Dilly”. To amaze everyone, a Sensory Dance was presented by our children in guidance of the therapists. On this occasion, Director Mrs. Rani Chaudhary presented the annual report of the past session and also commemorate the events took place in Saaransh foundation in last two years. Further colourful performances were put forth by students of Tagore and Beethoven on “Chak dhoom dhoom” and “Chanda chamke cham cham”. Amidst all, the eye catching performance was of our dancing duo Amulya and Tapajit on “Swag Se Swagat”.Chairman Mr. Apoorva Goenka and Director Mrs. Rani Chaudhry awarded the children with the certificates on this occasion. To add more glee, students of Einstein danced on the beats of “Dil hai chota sa” and “Badal pe paon hai”. Not to miss the opportunity another solo performance was presented by Amulya. Teachers were no less in surprising the guests. Thus a mesmerising performance on the song “Thousand Years” by Christina Perri was presented in gestures and sign language. Thereafter, a talk show on the journey of Saaransh Foundation was hosted by Chairman Mr. Apoorva Goenka, where he interviewed Director Mrs. Rani Chaudhry and few of our teachers. At last, a wonderful play “Udaan” was staged, showing daily life activities and challenges faced by teachers in Saaransh Foundation. The best part of the play was performances given by our children.

The program was concluded with a vote of thanks.
