In an endeavour to reach the horizons of humanity, Bholaram Education Society, marked the launching of Saaransh Foundation on 29th Aug.2016 at Sardar Patel Memorial Auditorium, Shahibagh, Ahmedabad, with great zeal, vibrance and elation.
Dr. Nirmalaben S Wadhwani, Hon’ble State Minister of Women and Child Welfare- Govt of Gujarat, the esteemed Chief Guest for the occasion could not make it to the function due to an important commitment but she lauded the DPS management and congratulated Mr Apoorva Goenka for taking such a noble initiative towards the welfare of the society, through a telephonic conversation.
The All-rounder Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan who had consented to be the brand ambassador of ‘Saaransh Foundation’ was present at the program. The occasion was also graced by Mr. Ramesh Goenka, Founder and Chairman of Bholaram Education Society. Among other dignitaries’ present were the keynote speakers – Dr. Prathama Raghavan (MS, PHD-Autism, France), a developmental psychologist, Ms. Kamini Lakhani (Autism Specialist, RDI Consultant, Founder of SAI Connections in Mumbai) and Ms. Jayshree Ramesh (Director of ASHA, Academy for Severe Handicapped and Autism), who has been rendering her services in this field since 1995. All the eminent guests and dignitaries were extended a warm welcome by Mr. Apoorva Goenka, Founder, Saaransh Foundation.
The program also showcased cultural presentations by the students of DPS, Gandhinagar under the mentoring and grooming of faculty members. A documentary on the life of an autistic child, shown on the occasion touched the hearts of the audience.
The renowned, All-rounder cricketer and the brand Ambassador for the venture Mr. Irfan Pathan formally launched Saaransh Foundation, escorted by Shri. Ramesh Goenka, Mr. Apoorva Goenka and Ms. Rani Chaudhry. In his speech Mr. Irfan expressed his happiness on being associated with Saaransh and assured great help to the children with special needs.
