Raising a differently abled child does not require a special family but every family that undertakes such a journey to bring up the child to be self-capable, becomes special in its own way. With an objective of fostering this special bonding between the child, parent and the society at large, Bholaram Education Society shared the details of its forthcoming noble initiative “SAARANSH” with Media friends at Ahmedabad Management Association on 22 August, 2016. Saaransh foundation promised to undertake the challenges to nurture, protect and to teach differently abled children under a single roof so that they do not need to be taken to different premises to provide co-scholastic environment.

Speaking on this occasion Mr. Apoorva Goenka, Founder, said, “BES was established 13 years ago with a commitment to excellence, providing opportunities to enable young people to be best positioned in the field of academics and healthcare. Over the years- a dream in the sub-conscious spirit of mind had started taking shape in the form of SAARANSH and it has turned into reality today in front of you. Through Saaransh our vision is to reach out to specially abled children with autism, dyslexia and other related syndromes. The challenges faced by them and their parents are really big and inescapable. Our endeavour will be to minimize these challenges for them and make the children self-sufficient and self-reliant. Saaransh is about the journey of life and we want these Children to be leading a life with dignity.”

Other speakers on the occasion were Ms Rani Chaudhury (Director, DPS Gandhinagar), Mr Kamal Chand (Vice Principal, DPS Gandhinagar), Ms Manobina Chakraborty (Core team member of Saaransh Foundation) and Dr Deepika Jain (Developmental Pediatrician).
