Event : Valentine’s Day Celebration

Date : 14.02.2020

Valentine’s Day is celebrated every year on 14th February in the most parts of the world. It marks the death anniversary of one of the Christian legends, Saint Valentine. Valentine’s Day is portrayed as a day especially meant for lovers. However, it has a much larger appeal. It is a day to express love and that love can be for anyone and not just for a lover. Love of all kind is beautiful and thus, needs to be celebrated.

This is the day to thank people, whosoever they are, for being there in our life and being there with us when we needed them. The day to thank our parents for the love that they have given us which is above every other kind of love in the world and making us the person that we are today. The day to thank our partner for being there in times of highs and lows and also thank our friends for keeping their faith in us even when everyone else seems to be losing theirs. Valentine’s Day is all about showing and expressing love and doing things that would make someone feel that they are loved.

On Valentine’s Day, the premises of Saaransh Foundation was overflowing with the feeling of love, the love of our children for their helpers like – their bus drivers and conductors, their maids, their teachers and their therapists, who help them every day in one or the other way in achieving their daily life goals. All the children of Saaransh Foundation made beautiful paper flower bouquets and presented them to their helpers to express their love for them and thanked them for every effort they put for the children’s betterment. At the end of the celebration, the only thing that could be seen in the campus was lots and lots of smiles and happy faces all around.
